Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer-songwriter whose tales of heartbreak in the early years achieved wide popularity in the first decade of the 20th century. Swift's passion for music was evident when she was a young age. From musicals for kids to performing before thousands, Swift made rapid progress. In 2011, Swift at the age of 11, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers' basketball game. In the year following, Swift began writing her own music. Drawing inspiration from popular country artists like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original songs that were a reflection of her own experiences of growing up in a world that was dominated by tweens. Swift's parents moved her from Pennsylvania to Tennessee when she was thirteen after they sold their Pennsylvania farm. The move allowed Swift to spend more time looking for labels to promote country music in Nashville.
